Admissions to VIT Vellore
VIT Admission to UG and PG courses is available at the university. You can apply for VIT Vellore admission by visiting their official website and filling in the application form. VITEEE scores are required for admission to theB.Tech program. Candidates must take the VITMEE entrance exam to be admitted to VIT Vellore’s M.Tech CSE or M.C.A programs. For VIT Vellore admissions to B.Des or M.Des programs, candidates must pass CEED and UCEED. The final stage of admission includes the verification of documents and payment of admission fees.

VIT Vellore Courses
There are 66 full-time undergraduate programs and postgraduate programs at the university. VIT Vellore offers courses in management, engineering, and computer applications. VIT Vellore courses include B.Tech and B.Sc in Computer Applications, B.C.A., B.B.A., B.Arch in Agriculture Hons, B.Des Industrial Design, and dual degree programs, M.Tech, M.C.A., M.Sc, and M.Des Industrial Design.

VIT Vellore Scholarships
A variety of scholarships are available to deserving students. VIT Vellore scholarships can be awarded to students based on their performance at the State Board and Central Board exams or VITEEE. Merit scholarships are awarded to class toppers, while financial aid is available for economically disadvantaged students every year on a need basis. Scholarships are available to meritorious NRI students, international students, and M.Tech GATE winners. VIT Vellore scholarships can also be awarded to students who excel at sports and games. Students who are first-ranking on the State Board or Central Board receive 100% scholarships.

VIT University Placement
VIT’s Career Development Centre plays a significant role in providing students with great opportunities to get placed. Wipro Technologies offered jobs to 278 students starting in 2020 at Vellore Institute of Technology. The CTC (cost-to-company) was 6.50 lakhs a year.

Placement Highlights
The statistics show that around 4961 students were placed at VIT in 2021. For placements, the campus was visited by 803 companies in 2020-21. The highest package received was Rs4400000(Microsoft). VIT’s CDC has placed 10 students per year in MNCs across the USA, UK, and Japan.
VIT Vellore placements are managed by the university’s Career Development Centre (CDC). The VIT Vellore Placement Cell acts as a link between students and corporations and ensures that students have the best possible placement opportunities. It is responsible for all (VIT) Vellore placement activities. It hosts workshops, seminars, and guest lectures from industry experts to prepare students for the placement drive. The VIT Vellore campus placement cell offers internship opportunities.
Every year, the campus placement process begins in January. Training sessions are held in February, and placements begin in July. VIT categorizes its placements under the Super Dream, Dream Offers, and Internships categories. Students in their final year can also apply for internships through the placement cell. Previous internships have been offered to students in the USA, UK, and Ireland as well as Japan, China, UAE (Kenya), Kenya, Italy, and other countries.

VIT Vellore Facilities and Infrastructure
VIT Vellore also has a medical center that offers medical assistance to staff, students, and faculty. Three canteens are available to provide healthy, nutritious food for students at a reasonable price. Other VIT Vellore facilities include a gym, sports facilities, and an auditorium.
